Evolution Series

The Evolution Series Altimeter is the finest sport parachuting mechanical altimeter on the market. As our first product to be made available, it has been released to critical acclaim from all our customers. It is manufactured using the latest in manufacturing technology and it has been designed specifically for the sport market. Stringent quality controls have been combined with strict calibration requirements to produce a sport altimeter that is significantly more accurate than the industry standard and its effective range is 2000 feet higher. It is 27 percent lighter than the industry standard because it is smaller and more ergonomically designed but it maintains the familiar 2 inch dial face. The Evolution Series has pioneered the field of faceplate customization, allowing our customers to personalize their instrument. The Evolution Series has also been expanded by the addition of the Inversion, which has a counterweighted movement specifically designed for free flyers, and the H2O, for pond swooping, which has, in Free Fall Accessories fashion, far exceeded the industry standard for water resistance by actually being water-proof to a depth of 40 ft for 2 hrs. All Evolution Series altimeters are covered by a lifetime transferable warranty.

 

Evolution I

The Evolution I is a hand mounted altimeter that is small and light. It measures 2 1/2 inches at the botom and tapers in to 2 inches at the top. It is 1 inch tall and weighs 4.3 oz. The Body is CNC machined from 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum and is anodized in either, Blue, Black, red, yellow, purple or silver. The face with its large bold numbers and a contrasting needle creates an instrument that allows the operator an easy reference to which they can visually compare with, in order to determine their location to the ground. The Evolution I comes standard with a Hand Mount. You can choose from three different o-ring sizes, large (standard), medium, and small. You also have a choice of altimeter strap colors, black, blue, yellow, red, grey and purple. If you require a special size we can make to whatever length you may need. The lens is a standard screw-in type as to allow the user to replace it themselves.

 

Evolution II

The Evolution II is a large, 3-inch faced, chest mounted altimeter for students, instructors, or whoever wants a large faced altimeter. It is 1 inch tall and weighs 4.8 oz. This large altimeter is different from others due to the way the user zeros the needle before a jump. We use the same inner adjusting housing as the Evolution I to adjust the needle. This eliminates any knobs that are sticking out from being rubbed or snagged. The face with its large bold numbers and a contrasting needle creates an instrument that allows the operator an easy reference to which they can visually compare with, in order to determine their location to the ground. The Evolution II comes standard with a pillow mount. Pillows are available in different colors which are, Black, Blue, Yellow, Grey, and red. Custom fabric pillows can be made at no extra charge given the fabric is supplied by the customer. The lens is a standard screw-in type as to allow the user to replace it themselves.

 

Evolution Stainless

The Evolution Stainless Altimeter is for the jumper that is looking for that extra something. CNC machined from 304 Stainless Steel and polished to a mirror like shine. The Evolution Stainless is a hand mounted altimeter. It measures 2 1/2 inches at the bottom and tapers in to 2 inches at the top. It is 1 inch tall and you will feel as if you are wearing a 6.1 oz. Rolex. The Evolution Stainless comes standard with a hand mount with options of three O-Ring sizes. You also have a choice of altimeter strap colors, Black, Blue, Yellow, Red, Grey and Purple. Iif you require a special size we can make it to whatever length you may need.
